NYC Event

Welcome to NYC Metro Motor Skills Competition 2012. This year promises to be special with interest coming from all over the United States. Competition will be held at Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, New York, September 27,28, 29, 2012. There will be two civilian divisions this year, experts will compete in the "A" division, all others in the "B" division. The always impressive police division will stand alone. Midwest Police Motorcycle Training Inc. will feature copyrighted and exclusive exercises used in their school designed to challenge every level rider. Civilian exercises will be set at training standards while the police division will be set at competition standards. Enjoy a day of riding, exhibitions and competition knowing that all donations will enhance the Fire Family Transport Foundation. As the name implies this foundation provides badly needed assistance to families of fire-fighters killed or disabled in the line of duty. If you are interested in being a judge, please contact Gerard at gerard@nycmetromotorskills.com

WHAT'S THE POINT

It is not difficult to get a motorcycle license today. A license however, will not help you in an emergency. Safety awareness through proper motorcycle training is our focus. The competition will foster motorcycle safety, bring police officers and civilian riders together and promote safe riding techniques. The events challenge every rider. The results will demonstrate how you stack up against the very best riders in each class. Whether you are a new rider, experienced but untried or an expert, you will find a class that will test you skills and make you better at what you love to do---ride. Check out our list of events and find out how they are run. Our events will test you situational awareness, ability to multitask under pressure and provide both new and time tested riding techniques. It doesn't matter what your skill level is, come, participate, learn and enjoy the camaraderie.
